Apex Wealth Management — Product Guide

Product Issuer: Apex Wealth Advisers Pty Ltd (AFSL 412345), a subsidiary of Apex Bank Ltd

Apex Bank Wealth is available to clients with $250,000+ in investable assets, or a total banking relationship of $750,000+. Every Wealth client is assigned a dedicated Private Banker and receives quarterly Investment Committee guidance.

Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) Services

Apex is an SMSF-aware lender and deposit taker.

SMSF Cash and Term Deposits

  • Cash management accounts: +0.50% p.a. over retail
  • Term deposits from 1 month to 5 years
  • SMSF-specific BPAY and EFT limits

  • Estate planning introductions (Sterling Legal partner firm)

Initial consultation: $550, refundable if you proceed with a SoA.


Pre-Retiree Capital Preservation Framework

A recommended 5–10 year glide path:

  1. De-risk equities progressively (≈3% per year from age 55)
  2. Build 2–3 years of living expenses in term deposits and cash
  3. Maintain offset buffer on any remaining mortgage debt
  4. Review SMSF investment strategy annually with your accountant
  5. Maximise concessional contributions up to the $27,500 cap
